LEAP Payments Begin Under New Six-Tier Structure - Cycles 1 & 2 Disbursed Together
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection announces that payment of social cash grants to eligible beneficiary households will commence on Monday, 14th September 2026. This covers the 1st and 2nd cycles for all 450,000 households selected under the nationwide reassessment. A revised six-tier payment structure - ranging from GH₵380 to GH₵630 per cycle based on household size and vulnerability - has been introduced. Since Cycles 1 & 2 are paid together, eligible households will receive twice their applicable grant amount in this disbursement.
